This idea originated in 2024, on the first Mother’s Day without my Mum. I encouraged my boys to think of a mother we knew who didn’t have children nearby to celebrate her (whether estranged, separated by distance or for some other reason), especially as other mothers were being celebrated. We gifted her a small present to bless her and to let her know she is loved.
