We all have “days of small beginnings”, as the Bible reminds us.
My humble beginnings and foray into modern hand lettering can all be witnessed on my Instagram feed.
I’ve purposely left my feed as is—unchanged since I started IG, way back when the native IG filters and vignette frames were all the rage to use on Instagram photos. And it’s for this reason:
And it’s often much more than we realise, especially when we look back on those seemingly ordinary, small days when we’re starting out something…perhaps even quite awkwardly (yup, been there, felt that!).
Or those ordinary days when we’re plodding along without acknowledgement, appreciation or attention from others.
It’s actually these very simple, almost quite un-extraordinary days that are the crucible for something of significance…if we dare to persist!
As my style, technique and knowledge in digital lettering and illustration began to develop from weekly practice and immersion, so did the desire to expand their placement beyond Instagram.
Creating hand lettered art prints and plant pots as Christmas gifts became new and fun things to do.
And it made me realise...
perhaps more examples of Scripture could—and should!—be in our everyday lives.
I have long-regarded the passage of Deuteronomy 6 as something I want expressed in my home, because His Word is eternal and powerful!
DEUTERONOMY 6:4-9
While we may not be able to write them on every door frame or gate of the home, we can create a space and means for His Word to be visible throughout the home.
And that’s why this little corner of the internet sprouted:
to provide Scripture-based art and Spirit-led encouragement to remind us of Adonai’s unchanging promises of truth, love and victory for those who believe in His Word.
It’s much more than a Shop, though.
This is a place where you’ll find a growing collection of faith-based encouragement and resources to support you in living your God-created identity.
I hope it blesses you greatly!
These commandments that I give you today are to be on your hearts. Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up. Tie them as symbols on your hands and bind them on your foreheads. Write them on the door frames of your houses and on your gates.

If you’re feeling overwhelmed or overworked, see how to go from flustered to flourishing the Simon -Peter way.
In our modern day when things are almost instant, waiting often feels like a 'dirty word'. But the Bible shows us there'
